John and Hermione Birkbeck bought Litcham Hall in 1967 and have lovingly restored
the house and garden over forty years.
Situated on the edge of a conservation village in the centre of Norfolk, this fine
listed 18th Century House is set in three acres of garden, half an hour from the
unspoilt North-Norfolk coast.
This is an ideal place from which to visit anywhere in Norfolk, whether towards King’s
Lynn in the west of the county, or Norwich in the east.
Many well known houses and garden open to the public are within easy reach including,
of course, the great houses of Sandringham, Houghton, Holkham and Blickling.
Guests have the use of a large sitting room to themselves with a television. Breakfast
is served in the dining room. There are plenty of good restaurants and pubs nearby.
